Two T-Mobile directors, steps on because of the new strategy

Two managing directors of T-Mobile Netherlands have resigned. The departure of both the finance director as the marketing director ‘coincides’ with the development of the new strategy for the long term, according to the provider.

Both directors, Hans van Leeuwen and Henry Castle, working for years with the provider, even when it was still Am was. The exact cause of the simultaneous departure is not disclosed, but according to the provider, it falls together with the development of a new strategy for the long term. That phrase points out that the directors are not able to find in this new strategy.

With the departure of July 1, three members of the management board of T-Mobile Netherlands within a short time. At the end of last year departed managing director Bart Weijermars. He was replaced by Thomas Berlemann. It is unclear who is in charge on the marketing and financial divisions of T-Mobile Netherlands.

The management boards of Dutch providers are currently subject of an investigation into price-fixing. The NMa decided to that investigation, because of indications that the providers exchanged information about future prices and terms. T-Mobile explains in the announcement no correlation between the NMa-survey, and the simultaneous departure of the two directors.
