Mozilla goes into future versions of its Thunderbird mail client, a wizard process which allows users to easily set up a new e-mail account open. Both free and paid providers will have a spot.
According to the Thunderbird developers have they during user research identified that many of the participants the expectation had that there from the open source mail client with a new e-mail address can be opened, a possibility that the current version does not offer. Although this expectation as ‘remarkable’ label, decided the Mozilla developers a wizard to build the creating a new address.
In the wizard, a user can enter the required file name and one or more providers to choose from. This will help the Thunderbird team, both paid and free e-mail providers show. The wizard automatically checks if the desired address is available, then the registratietraject can go right through.
A test version of the new wizard is included in the latest beta of Thunderbird. Mozilla indicates that it only providers in the selection options will include if who meet the privacy rules of the company.
