Nokia: battery problems for Lumia 800 solved with next update

Nokia has announced that with the next update the battery problems on the Lumia 800 will solve. Previously published two updates of the manufacturer that the problem to solve, but not completely proved.

The update, version number PR1.2/1600.2487.8107.12070, would soon arrive, let Nokia know to MobileTechWorld. In the update are also a few other bugs were fixed, such as the lack of bass when listening to music via earphones, the bad auto white balance function of the camera, it does not show the hard buttons at certain brightness levels and the display of wrong information in the diagnostic software.

The Lumia 800 was the first Windows Phone from Nokia and it came in november in the Netherlands. The device runs Windows Phone 7.5 and has a Clear Black amoled screen of 3.7″. The Lumia runs on a Qualcomm MSM8255-soc which is clocked at 1.4 GHz.

Although Nokia already been two updates released to the battery problems to solve, remained many users complain about the poor battery life of the device. The Lumia 800 would be in some cases less than a day long on a battery can endure. Disabling 3g and wi-fi extends the battery life quite drastically. Also disabling certain background tasks would help the battery life to extend.
