Netgear has four new stackable switches announced. The models from the Smart Switch series from Netgear are equipped with 28 or 52 gigabit ethernet ports, some models power-over-ethernet support.
The simplest model in the new Smart Switch series from Netgear, the GS728TSB, has a total of 28 gigabit-ethernet ports. The GS728TPSB-version offers on top of power-over-ethernet on eight ports. The GS752TSB-switch provides 52 ethernetaansluitingen, while the GS752TPSB also has eight power-over-ethernet ports.
According to Netgear allows up to six switches to be stacked allowing a configuration of three hundred ethernet ports available. The stackable switches are compatible with ipv6 and static routing. Also, the access can be limited by the construction of access control lists.
Netgear charges for the GS728TSB and the GS728TPSB-variant recommended prices of respectively 539 and 1015 dollars. The GS728TPSB and GS752TPSB have prices gotten from 1470 and 1720 dollars. The switches are from the 15th of april available.
