MSI showed at Cebit a conceptkoeler for video cards which by the user can be modified. So it is possible to one of the two fans to remove and the cooler can be shortened for mounting in a small cabinet.
At first glance differs is the cooler, not a lot of other videokaartkoelers; on the top of the pcb is a heatsink that the entire map is covered and there on top are two fans placed. The linkerventilator can losgeklikt, after which the plastic covering including a second fan inserted can be. This is the remaining cooler right over the gpu. In this retracted position, it is possible to have the second fan on top of the first button. According to MSI to keep the stacked fans on the gpu a lot cooler than a single one, which is better overclocked.
MSI demonstrated the conceptkoeler on a HD7770 card and that is also the segment of graphics cards that MSI cooler is want to go to apply. The new cooler has officially has no name, but probably going to MSI him the TransThermal call. The model on the Cebit was shown was still clearly a prototype, and MSI could not yet say when the first cards with the new cooler in the store.
