HP Z820 workstation offers a space to 512GB of ram

HP has for the professional market, three new workstations announced. The top of the line Z820, can be equipped with two Xeon processors each with eight cores, up to 512GB ecc ram, and 14TB of storage.

The Z820 offers space for two Intel Xeon E5 2600 cpus. The motherboard has a total of no less than sixteen memory slots for up to 512GB of ddr3 memory with error-correcting code. Also, there are three x16 pcie card slots, eight sas ports, six sata ports present. In the case of the Z580, there is space for four 3.5″ and two 5.25″-drive bays. Further, the workstation equipped with two usb 3.0 ports and two gigabit vPro ethernet ports. HP can the Z820 system is equipped with two Quadro 6000 graphics cards from Nvidia. Also, the workstation can be configured with up to 14TB of storage capacity. The prices of the Z820 start at 2299 dollars.

The midrange model, the Z620, it is equipped with a smaller housing. On the system board may be one or two Intel Xeon E5 1600 or Xeon E5 2600 processors be pricked. The twelve card slots are good for up to 96GB main memory in a configuration with two processors and 64GB if there is one cpu is used. Furthermore, the relatively compact body of the Z620 place to three 3.5″ and two 5.25″drives, good for up to 11TB of storage. The system is available with one or two graphics cards of the Quadro 6000 or 5000 series. The basic configuration of the Z620 will cost 1649 dollars.

The Z420, the cheapest model, is suitable for the Xeon E5 1600 or E5 2600 processor. The motherboard built around the Intel C600 chipset, supports up to 64GB ecc ddr3 memory. In the housing there is space for three 3.5″ and three 5,25″-drivebays. HP provides a choice of one or two Nvidia Quadro 5000, or Quadro 2000-graphics cards. The prices start at 1169 dollars.

HP will be the three workstations in mid-april on the American market release. Next month, the manufacturer also recently presented Z1 all-in-one workstation in his range to include.
