Gigabyte announces ultrabook with Ivy Bridge and Thunderbolt to

Gigabyte has introduced at the Cebit in Hanover, new laptops, including an ultrabook, released. The U2442 is 18.5 to 20.5 mm thick, weighs 1,49 kg and will be available with Ivy Bridge processors, Thunderbolt, and a screen with 1600×900 pixels.

Gigabyte is going to be a U2442N and U2442V release. The first version will get Core i5 and Core i7 processor from the upcoming Ivy Bridge generation which is at normal voltage, while the V-model with ultra low voltage variants equipped. Both versions of the ultrabook additionally go a Nvidia GT 640M gpu and a 14″screen with 1600×900-pixel resolution.

The notebooks will be a ssd or a hard disk with a capacity of up to 750GB with usb 3.0 and bluetooth 4.0 are missing either. Gigabyte makes further mention of Thunderbolt, but this interface from Intel would be optional. Also, the ultrabooks 2T2R-wi-fi with two antennas.

Gigabyte announced at the same time with the ultrabook is a gamingnotebook. The P2542G has a 15.6 inch screen and Core i7 Ivy Bridge quadcores and a GeForce GTX 660M equipped. The Q2542N also has a 15.6 inch screen, Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7, in combination with the GeForce GT640M, as a mainstream notebook to consider.

There is also a new business slate pc added to the range. The S1081 has a 10.1″screen and Atom N2800-soc, which at 1.86 GHz. The tablet has hdmi, usb 3.0 and a ssd or hard drive of 500GB. Finally, Gigabyte, two new Booktops released: the T1132N, and the M2432 with, respectively, a 11.6″ and a 14″screen. This thin notebooks with docking stations provided, so that they are quality can serve. The T1132N also features a touchscreen.

Unknown what models are coming to the Netherlands. The laptops from Gigabyte to the Netherlands imported by Advance Mobile, but usually it is a limited selection of models. Prices and the release date is also not yet known.
