Voice actor Joe Flanigan let Twitter know that he is working on a new AO4 video game for Electronic Arts.’ That could mean that EA make a sequel on Army of Two, that can be played by four players.
Fans on the internet, make out the tweet from Flanigan that Electronic Arts is working on Army of Four, a successor of the coop-shooters Army of Two and the in 2010 published Army of Two: The 40th Day. Especially since there are already rumors emerged about a sequel. Website Kotaku began in december rumors that Army of Four is in production. The game would be made by EA’s Montreal studio, who are also the predecessors delivered. The studio would be able to make use of the Frostbite 2.0 engine, known from Battlefield 3.
That is probably also the source of the confusion that Joe Flanigan sowed. He called ‘the new AO4 game in his tweet,” a spin-off of Battlefield.’ Not much later he had a new tweet to indicate that he is ‘uncool’ and the two series by each other and shrugged.
With the first two parts of the series resulted in Electronic Arts games with two players in coop to play. If Flanigan with his tweet indeed Army or Four mean, will the new part, no doubt, by four players in coop to play, though Electronic Arts, the game is still not announced, and no details disclosed.
