Canon has the list of specifications of its new pro-dslr EOS 1D X is supplemented with information that until recently was missing. The new details relate to the buffer size, battery life, weight and the possible bitrates for video.

The new EOS 1D X dslr was on October 20, officially announced, with a then-expected availability from march, but the list of specifications was not yet complete. Canon has this list now been supplemented, as is also read at the site of photographer Rob Galbraith. Is continuous live view is used, then this falls to respectively 290 and 250 photos.

For video, especially the bit rates is important. With 1080p video, the data stream with the use of the ipb, compression 235MB/minute, while this with the all-i compression with a bitrate of 685MB/minute poses. For 720p video, this is respectively 205MB/minute and 610MB/minute, while the 640×480-video only with ipb-compression and a bitrate delivers 45MB/minute. For video with ipb-compression is a cf card with a write speed of 10MB/s is recommended, while for video with all-i compression cf cards need at least 30MB/s continuous road can write.
