AMD has its range of FX processors, cpu’s with Bulldozer modules on board, extended with two new processors. The company has a hexacore and a quad-core to its line-up added; other cpus will get a price reduction.
The new hexacore, who already in december was announced, in the FX series, the FX-6200. This processor has three Bulldozer modules, which each have two cores exist and get a clock speed of 3.8 GHz. With turbo enabled, speeds can go up to 4.1 GHz. The stock extension is achieved by the FX-4170: this is ticking at 4.2 GHz, and it pulls with turbo to 4.3 GHz. Both processors have 8MB of L3 cache and have a tdp of 125W. The FX processors are 32nm manufactured and AM3+sockets are put.
Two other FX processors that AMD already released, would be a reduction of price may count. The FX-8120 would have a list price of 205 dollars to $ 185 bags, while the FX-6100 would be pockets of 155 to $ 145. The two new cpu’s would be approximately 150 and 120 euro is going to cost you. When the two processors are actually available to buy, it is not yet known. Also the prices and price cuts may vary by region.
