FreedomPop, a company that offers free mobile internet in the US is going to offer, has concluded an agreement with the wireless isp Clearwire. Previously wanted to FreedomPop to work with Lightsquared, but this deal is afgeketst.
Initially chose FreedomPop for Lightsquared. This company is, however, a lot of the problems come because the FCC recently the license used. The problem would sit in the chosen technique of Lightsquareds hybrid network. The company wanted to have a nationwide lte network that uses the ‘L-band’, frequentieblokken which satellites are assigned. From measurements of the FCC would, however, have shown that devices such as gps receivers suffer from interference if the Lightsquared network is activated. Lightsquared says the problem can solve, but whether the company will succeed is still unknown.
