Onkyo announces four entry-level av receivers to

Onkyo has four new av receivers to be released. Two of them are 5.1 models, while the other two 7.2-channel sound reproduction support. The latter are also features a Qdeo chip for upscaling to 4K video.

The four models are the first 2012 models from Onkyo and make the new entrylevel-lineup of the brand. The new entry-level model is the TX-SR313. This follows the TX-SR309 and has an extra hdmi port. Onkyo has also, Wide Range Amplifier Technology, to improve the signal to noise ratio, used for this entry model. Also says Onkyo use of better components to amplify the audio signal.

The second model is the TX-NR414 and it is under the current TX-NR509 positioned. The TX-NR414 has two hdmi ports more than the entry-level model, provides access to a network via the ethernet connection or via an optional wi-fi usb adapter, and has a higher rated power than the TX-NR313. The TX-NR414 features Hybrid Standby technology that allows the hdmi signal from a source despite the fact that the receiver is out of state, passed and continues to be to the tv. The sound is then heard through the tv speakers.

The TX-NR515 and the TX-NR616, the top model of these four, 7.2-channel audio control, eight hdmi inputs, feature InstaPrevue technology, and come with a Qdeo image chip that allows the image to 4K video upscaling via hdmi to a 4K tv set. The TX-NR616 has of the two the most power per channel and has only one of the four the THX Select2 Plus certification. All four models are dolby truehd and dts-hd master audio.

The TX-NR313, TX-NR414 and TX-NR515 are from march available for a suggested retail price of, respectively, 299 dollars, 499 dollars and 599 dollars. The TX-NR616 model is from april available for a price of 699 dollars.
