Noctua introduces low cooler

Noctua has a low-profile cooler for use in small enclosures ge lwa site. The NH-L12 is available right now and would thanks to its low minimum height of 66 millimeters more can be used in home theater pc’s.

The low-profile cooler from Noctua is to equip it with two fans: one at the top on the cooler and a second under the cooling fins. That last fan is a 92mm instance, and to fit between the cooling fins and the heat sink. A larger fan will not fit, because the four heatpipes in the way. A second fan 120mm fits on the top of the cooling fins, but the height increases from 66 to 91 millimeters. The NH-L12 has a weight, including fans, 680 grams; the bare weight is 415 grams.

The 92mm fan is Noctua’s NF-B9, which at up to 1600 revolutions per minute rotates. With an included Low-Noise Adapter, a resistor that Noctua a LNA calls it, is the speed down to 1300rpm. The NF-F12, the 120mm fan that is mounted on top, running at 1500rpm and 1200rpm spin with a LNA before being switched. The cooler is suitable for all current sockets from both AMD and Intel. The NH-L12 is available immediately and costs 50 euros.
