Microsoft has plans to enable users of its cloudopslagplatform SkyDrive, against payment more storage space to offer. Also wants the software giant native SkyDrive client applications to release for Windows and OS X.
Microsoft might also plan to, in imitation of providers like Dropbox and Apple’s iCloud, additional storage capacity to offer. On top of the 25GB that SkyDrive is available free of charge, for 10 dollars per year, the available storage capacity with 20GB to be enlarged. Who annually 50 or 100GB of additional cloud storage want, to pay, respectively, 25 and 50 dollars per year.
It is unknown if Microsoft’s enhancements to its SkyDrive platform, wants to go to release. But it is clear that the software giant with the proposed prices are cheaper than a number of competitors.
