LG for Korea, a smartphone which is probably the competition to have to go with the Galaxy Note from Samsung. The device has a screen size of 5″, whereby a stylus can be worked.
This seems to be the smartphone, that the name Vu shall, in the market to be put as a device that must be maintained between a phone and tablet. The 5″screen has a resolution of 1024×768 pixels and is of the ips type. The resolution is remarkable, because it is a 4:3 aspect ratio. In the housing rotates a dualcoreprocessor of Qualcomm, who does his work at 1.5 GHz. Photos can be taken with an 8-megapixel camera, and stored on the internal memory of 32GB. There is also support for the 4g network technology lte.
The device is probably only in Korea released. However, it is possible that LG has such a device, also for Europe in the pipeline. Earlier, Samsung already in Europe the Galaxy Note, a similar device with a stylus can be controlled. The Vu also has support for stylus-controlled, though it is unclear whether this is included.
Previously there were already pictures and a teaserfilmpje to the outside of the Vu. The expectation was that an announcement at the upcoming Mobile World Congress would follow suit, but the device is now officially announced. Will LG have a new smartphone during the telecombeurs show. From march on, the Vu shall be available in Korea.
