Image successor to the LG Optimus 3D appears online

There is a catalog published by the successor of LG’s Android smartphone, Optimus 3D. The ‘CX2’ would be considerably thinner than the Optimus 3D, but for the other districts of the claimed specifications rather different from earlier rumors.

The photo shows a white device with an interface that suggests that the device on Android 2.3 Gingerbread is running and not the newer Android 4.0. The battery icon is green, the accent color from Android 2.3. Although the homescreen 3d-effects lets see, that must be fake; autostereoscopic screens work in only one screen orientation, and because of the camera that landscape.

The product photo and information on specifications that come from the Korean site ETNews, which regularly scoops claims about the products of Samsung and LG. In many cases, the information afterwards to understand, but occasionally the site there is also next. So had the site information in advance about the specs and the release date of the Galaxy Nexus by Samsung is made. Also had the site info on the 55″-oled-tvs from Samsung and LG, which during the consumer electronics show CES were shown. The successor of the Optimus 3D appeared in an earlier rumor, with images of a black model.

The phone will run on an Omap4-soc from Texas Instruments, with a clock speed of 1.2 GHz. The 3d screen will be an ips lcd, but the resolution and diagonal are unknown. Also missing details on the price and the release date of the device, probably at the end of this month during telecombeurs Mobile World Congress is shown.
