First details of MechWarrior Tactics revealed

Publisher Infinity Game Publishing makes the first public details of MechWarrior Tactics, a new edition in the series of strategic turn-based games. Players can set up their Mechs to their own discretion to adjust, before they reach the battlefield to rise.

The description that you can read on the website of MechWarrior Tactics is short. Publisher Infinity Game Publishing describes the game as a turn-based strategic game, which at least in part, online play is. It is not clear whether the game will be offline, which can be played. The publisher states that players and objects can buy them in the battle can help or just for aesthetic purposes can be used. Those objects can be used to the Mechs and to appreciate that online fought. This seems to MechWarrior Tactics, a free playable online, with the publisher trying to make money to microtransacties.

In the short explanation describes the publisher that players in level could rise by experience on the battlefield. Players can have their Mechs at will adjust. There are different Mechs available, each with a specific role on the battlefield. The publisher encourages players to think well what Mechs they bring to the battlefield, which suggests that players for each battle, a small team may select from a greater variety of Mechs. The game is made by Acronym Games and in 2012 will appear on the market.

Tactics is the second online-MechWarrior-game, which in short time will be announced. Infinite Game Publishing announced in October MechWarrior Online, that’s similar in design it seems. The rights to the name MechWarrior were long in the hands of Microsoft. They, however, came in 2007 back in the hands of Jordan Weisman, which he founded Fasa Studios, the first parts of the series made. Fasa was the beginning of this century by Microsoft bought in 2007, closed, then Weisman the rights bought in the greatest successes of his own studio, MechWarrior, and Shadowrun.
