Biostar introduces Ivy Bridge motherboard

Biostar has his first motherboard for Ivy Bridge processors from Intel, ge lwa site. The motherboard with the Z77 chipset will be shown for the first time during the technology fair Cebit, 6 to 10 march in Hannover, germany.

The flagship of Biostar for the next generation of processors from Intel, code named Ivy Bridge wear, got the model number TZ77XE4. The Z77 in the name points to the Z77 chipset, the board, among other things, provides four usb 3.0 ports and four sata-600 interfaces. In addition, eight usb 2.0 ports and four sata-300 ports available, as is a gigabitnetwerkpoort and 7.1-channel.

The upcoming Ivy Bridge – or the current Sandy Bridge processors in the lga1155 socket be plugged, and can be combined with up to 32GB of ddr3 memory spread across four slots. There are three pci-express x16 slots of the third generation, like a single x1 slot and two pci slots. Further buttons to the system on and off and a post led on the board is present.

The i/o section consists of, from left to right, two usb 2.0 ports above the ps/2 port. The integrated gpu in the processors can image run through a hdmi port, displayport, D-sub or dvi connector. Then, two usb 3.0 ports with an esata connector above it, beside it, two usb 2.0 ports and the network port. The audioaanslutingen complete the picture.

The motherboard is of puncture is provided by way of a dertienfasige power supply, which the system also during overclocking stable. A price and formal launch date are not yet announced by Biostar.
