There is information published about a new tablet from Asus which is about the slightly lower specifications than the Transformer Prime, and so is probably also cheaper will be offered. The TF300T will get less memory, and is thicker.
Of the on tablet appeared earlier in a photo, but now on the Polish site Tabletowo more specifications online came through a screenshot of the alleged Asus-tabletlijn. The TF300T has, just as the current Prime a 10″screen with 1280×800 resolution, and there is a connector for the docking station with keyboard,
The Tegra 3 runs, however, at 1.2 GHz instead of 1.3 GHz and there is only 16GB instead of 32GB or 64GB storage memory. Also miss the led flash for the camera and is the specified battery life of 8.5 hours without and 12 hours with docking station. In the original Prime, with type name TF200T, these values are respectively 9.5 and 18 hours. In addition, the new version according to the screenshot 9,9 mm thick and that is thicker than the original which is 8,3 mm measure. Finally, it weighs the tablet 640gram, more than the 582 grams of the Prime.
What the price is going to be, it is still not known, but may follow the introduction at the Mobile World Congress at the end of February in Barcelona takes place.
