Ahold buys Bol.com for 350 million euros

Ahold, the company behind the Albert Heijn, take Bol.com about. For the online shop is 350 million euro was paid to the current owners. It is the second time in three years that it is of German origin Bol.com of owner changes.

Ahold on the acquisition on Monday morning announced. The retailer pays the current owners, two investment companies, 350 million euros for all the shares in the shop. The two investors, Cyrte and NPM Capital, took the company less than three years ago for an undisclosed amount.

It is expected that the acquisition in the second quarter of this year is completed. Bol.com has indicated that the company is under the same management continues to fall and that in his own office is housed.
