There are details published of AMD’s new Cape Verde gpu which is going to happen in the HD77xx graphics cards. The cards from AMD’s new midrangeserie get 1GB of gddr5 memory and clock speed between 800MHz and 1GHz.
The website 3Dcenter says the final specifications of the HD7750 and HD7770 in your hands, reports Techpowerup. The cards are powered by the Cape Verde gpu, a slimmed down version of the Tahiti gpu, the HD7970, which is based on the Graphics Core Next architecture. This is at TSMC on the 28nm process, baked and would be out approximately one and a half billion transistors exist.
The HD7770 should be the fastest midrangekaart be on the basis of Cape Verde. The gpu on this video card on a 1GHz clocked, while the 1GB of gddr5 memory with an effective clock speed of 4500MHz. This memory is connected with a 128bits wide bus which should result in a bandwidth of 72GBps. The card will have 640 stream processors and would be about 80W going to dissipate. The performance would be between that of the HD6790 and HD6850.
Under the HD7770 is the HD7750 placed. When this card instead of 640 only 512 stream processors active, and the clock speed is lowered from 1GHz to 800MHz. The 1GB of gddr5 memory is still at 4500MHz clocked and its bandwidth is also equal. This video card would be up to 55W start to consume, and should just perform better than the HD6770.
According to a leaked roadmap of MSI will the new series of boarding passes in mid-February, be announced and would the models respectively 149 and $ 139 cost. Only in march would be the AMD HD7800 series want to introduce.
