Microsoft has for the first time, the interface shown of Office 15, the next version of its office software. The ribbon since Office 2007 the navigation in the interface is mastered, it is by default folded to make room for white space.
Microsoft has, to date, little visual information about its new office suite released. In a preview video of Windows on ARM which Microsoft has put online, however, the necessary details are shown. So is the interface of Word, Excel, and Powerpoint on an ARM-version of Windows volatile. It is unclear whether the x86-based version of Office will look the same.
The Office applications run in desktop mode of Windows 8. The ribbon is by default collapsed, leaving only a textual bar to see. The default folding of the ribbon is an element that Microsoft also uses in Explorer in Windows 8. The Office applications contain a lot of white space, and according to Microsoft the same features as those now in Office apps sit. Although the software, according to Microsoft, optimized for touchscreens, is the bottom right corner of the same small zoom bar to see that now in Word, for example is used.
Office 15 will be from this summer to use as a Technical Preview. Presumably will the office software this fall, along with Windows 8 for ARM and x86. The first for consumers referred to the test version of Windows 8 is expected by the end of this month. This version, however, will not Office apps.
