‘Moederbordprijzen rise in march”

Moederbordfabrikanten, including Asus and Gigabyte, expect from march this year, a price increase of 5 lwa 10 percent, claims Digitimes. Reason for this is the increase in the price of copper and labor costs in China.

The prices of copper are 455 euro rose to 6531 euro per tonne. That makes the bare printed circuit boards, the part of which afterwards, the pcb is created, a lot more expensive and increases the price of the final system board. In addition, the minimum wage in Shenzen, Beijing and Shanghai in the last year, with an average 12,17 percent, reports Digitimes.

In the past year, prices have already increased by 5 to 10 percent in early 2011 and another 3 to 8 percent in april last year. When was that, due to rising material costs and a labour shortage. Despite the price increases, expect the moederbordbakkers that they are, in the first quarter 10 to 20 percent more signs will deliver to their distributors.
