Developer CD Projekt Red has at an event in Poland announced that The Witcher 2 on april 17 released for the Xbox 360. The game appears on two dvd’s and comes with the soundtrack, a world map and a quest handbook. There is also a luxurious Dark Edition, with extras such as The making of and a number of collectibles.
The Xbox 360 version of The Witcher 2 appears eleven months after the game came out on the pc. Since the pc release, CD Projekt Red, the game is regularly patched and new free content. These improvements will be included in the Xbox 360 version of the game. The developer also improves the camera, target locking, and controls and polishing the user interface.
The Polish developer adds a new flourish, 33 minutes of new cutscenes and two new adventures. That last should be good for four hours of additional gameplay. CD Projekt Red promises to be even more surprise additions in store for the rpg. Pc gamers can also on 17 april to work with the new content, which via the auto-updater of the game will be downloaded.
