Sony has three new Cyber-shot compact cameras announced. The TX200V is a waterproof compact camera with a record of 18.2 megapixels, while the WX70 and WX50 compact cameras with a 5x zoom lens.
The most interesting camera of the three announced models, the TX200V, strangely enough, not to Europe. Its predecessor, the TX100V, has the crossing, however, made.
The new TX200V has a different design. The slider at the TX100V to the internal lens to transport screens, with the TX200V been replaced with reinforced glass that the entire front is covered. Also, the in – and uitzoomknopje moved from the top to a vertex.
There is also internally a number of things changed. So, the 1/2,3″-Exmor R image sensor, a record of 18.2 megapixels received, compared to the 16.2 megapixels of its predecessor, while instead of a 4x zoom lens and a 5x zoom lens used in the TX200V. The wide angle starts at a focal length of 26mm.
The WX70 and WX50 will be released in Europe, but only the last comes to the Netherlands. The WX70 comes some of the specifications are concerned, the most consistent with the current Cyber-shot WX30. So is an Exmor R image sensor is used with 16,2 megapixels, the lens has a 5x zoom range with an effective wide angle of 25mm, and uses a 3″touchcreen with 921K subpixels.
The WX50 differs from the WX70, by the use of a 2.7″lcd with 460K subpixels. This screen is not touch-sensitive. The WX50 seems to be the successor of the current WX9 model. The Cyber-shot WX50 is 210 euros in costs, and will be available in the colours black and silver.
