Sony brings streaming music service Music Unlimited for iOS. The required app will be available soon. Sony will have to compete with existing streamdiensten, such as Spotify. Music Unlimited is not available in the Netherlands
The Music Unlimited app for iOS has yet to this quarter appear, so made Sony during the consumer electronics show CES known. It is not likely that Dutch users can make use of the service. Music Unlimited is currently not available in the Netherlands.
It is remarkable that Sony chooses for its service for iOS. The manufacturer competes with Apple in the field of smartphones and tablets, and will have to compete against existing streamdiensten and Appleās own muziekverkoop via iTunes.
With Music Unlimited, iOS users can soon the 15 million songs in the catalog recorded stream to their mobile device. Also is the offline caching of songs as possible, and allow users to music from their pc to upload. The service is a subscription necessary.
Sony brought already an app out for Android. Also has recently started with the Android smartphones. Previously did the manufacturer, in cooperation with Ericsson, but that company was Sony bought out.
