Samsung comes with new Galaxy S variant – update

Samsung has a new variant of the Galaxy S from 2010 has been announced. The Galaxy S Advance has a dualcore soc and a ram size of 1GB. The phone comes out this spring in the Netherlands in the shelves.

The Galaxy S Advance has as model number GT-I9070, reports Sammyhub. It is unclear what dual-core-soc is used, but it is unlikely that Samsung own soc used. Because of limited capacity, used Samsung galaxy dualcore socs of the Qualcomm and Texas Instruments.

The Galaxy S Advance would come with a Super Amoled screen of 4″ with a resolution of 800×480 pixels. The glass on the screen is slightly curved, just like the Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus. The camera takes photos with a resolution of 5 megapixels, while he video’s it can shoot at 720p. The device is the first Samsung equipped with Find My Mobile, a beveiligingsapp which data is encrypted and remotely wiped. Also can the phone via a website to be detected.

Samsung introduced the original Galaxy S in march 2010. The unit is now worldwide in more than thirty varieties released. Previously it seemed that Samsung the HD version of the Galaxy S II in Europe wanted to release, but the manufacturer denied that a short time ago, compared to Tweakers.net.
