Panasonic announced five new Lumix compact cameras announced. The TZ30 has a 20x zoom lens and a 3″touchscreen and 1080/50p video recording, while the FT20 for something less extreme conditions is meant, the new FT4.
The Lumix TZ20 and the TZ18 of last year be followed this year by the Lumix TZ30 and the TZ25. Panasonic has the TZ30 features a lens with a larger range. The TZ30 has a 20x zoom instead of the 16x-zoom lens of the TZ20. The lens has a wide angle of effective 24mm in small, has a nanocoating, and is stabilized.
As in the TZ20 is the gps on the TZ30 is built-in, but in the new model, it is possible to map data from a dvd provided in the camera to charge, so that this location can be accessed. On the map are attractions in the area shown, and also the locations of previously taken photos. The maps come from Navteq, a total of 82 countries and regions have a scale of 1:25.000.

In addition to the travelzoomcategorie Panasonic has a new rugged, waterproof compact cameras released. The most interesting is the new Lumix FT20, which is the smaller brother of the new Lumix FT4. The FX80 features a Hi-Speed ccd image sensor with 12.1 megapixels and 1080/50i video recording. All of the above models can be directly via a usb cable to be charged.
Panasonic has yet no prices of the new models announced, and also about the availability, the company has still no official announcements made.
