Orange Systems introduces modular pci-express ssd’s

Orange Systems has with the Angelbird Wings is a series of modular solid state drives based on pci-express add-in cards ge lwa site. The solid-state modules can also as a standalone ssd in a 2.5″enclosure be used.

The pci-express card of the Wings-series is available in three versions, with the Lite or the most simple variant without the onboard storage capacity to do. The other two versions have, respectively, 16 and 32GB ssd’s on board. The versions are all equipped with a x4 interface, four ssd slots. The power comes from the pci-express slot.
