Gigabyte has a motherboard in mini-itx format released that uses the H61 chipset. This is the small board is suitable for Intel’s Sandy Bridge processors, either the second generation of Core processors.

The MSH61DK measures such as all mitx motherboards only 17-by-17 inches and uses the limited space to get a socket lga1155 socket combine with two horizontal card slots for laptopgeheugen. The H61 chipset is cooled with a simple heatsink and there are one mini-pci-express-slot in fullsize and one halfsize. The chipset provides two sata-300 ports and a gigabitnetwerkpoort.

A separate controller sends two usb 3.0 ports, and a Realtek chip controls the sound. The plate has two usb 2.0 ports and a header for two more ports. The mitx motherboard with lvds and sim card connectors also intended for the embedded market. The supply must be by an external adapter to be provided: a 19V-connector on the i/o panel. Not yet known when the board will be available and how much it will cost.
