Complaints about battery Nokia Lumia 800 after update

Users of the Nokia Lumia 800 continue to complain about the limited battery life of the smartphone, despite two updates that the problem had to be solved. Nokia said in a response that the problem is really fixed.

The device is also going after the update, hardly a day, while many more should be, say users GoT. A battery life of one day is normal for smartphones. The Lumia 800 is, however, less time than other handsets with Windows Phone. Disabling 3g and wi-fi extends the battery life quite drastically. Also disabling certain background tasks would help the battery life to extend.

Nokia is not coming with updates to the battery life to extend, says the manufacturer in a response to the private forum, where users also after the updates will continue to complain. “We can report that we have successfully tested that those improvements (for battery life, red.) working,” said the manufacturer in its own declaration. There will be no more updates for the battery life, although there will be improvements for audio and camera settings”.

There emerged in the past few months several issues with the battery of the Lumia 800. Many users reported that the battery pack is not fully charged, it could be something in the Diagnostics app from Nokia searched could be. That issue would now belong to the past.

The Lumia 800 is the first Windows Phone from Nokia and it came in november in the Netherlands. The device runs Windows Phone 7.5 and has a Clear Black amoled screen of 3.7″. The Lumia runs on a Qualcomm MSM8255-soc which is clocked at 1.4 GHz.
