Microsoft has announced that the conference for web developers delete in favor of a ‘big developerconferentie’. Probably organizes the software giant a similar conference as Build last year.
The decision to MIX the deletion was, according to Microsoft, among others, taken to ‘event-fatigue’ to prevent. It would be for developers unclear as to which event they best could; the MIX was specifically designed for web developers, while also TechEd conferences tracks about web development.
MIX is now part of the ‘next big developer event’, writes Paul O’brien, head of developer evangelism at Microsoft. It may be that Microsoft is thus referring to one of his TechEd-ontwikkelaarsconferenties, but it seems like not. O’brien writes that the company wants a global developer event by Microsoft of the same caliber is if Microsoft Build. At that event, held last september in Los Angeles was held, made the company a lot of information about Windows 8 known.

Last year was more TechEd Europe was cancelled in order to pave the way for the Build. TechEd Europe offers this year and is held in June in Amsterdam. Microsoft announced in december that it has stopped with its annual conference at the CES in Las Vegas.
