Sony brings fast xqd memory cards

Sony has a number of memory cards announced that based on the new xqd standard. The new cards have speeds of 1Gbps. Also comes with a special card reader.

It comes to cards with storage capacities of 16GB and 32GB that write speeds of 125MBps can achieve. That is twenty five percent faster than current CompactFlash cards. Since the xqd interface based on the pci-e standard, speeds can, in theory, in the future be further increased.

The 16GB instance must 129,99 dollar cost while 32GB of 299,99 dollars deposited must be. Also comes Sony with a xqd card reader with usb 3.0 connector for 44,99$.
