There are pictures surfaced of a smartphone from Sony Ericsson, which is under the codenamed Pepper is known. According to the rumors is the manufacturer of the device as the successor of the Xperia Neo release.
In the case would be a ST-Ericsson NoveThor U8500 chip running, who does his work at a clock speed of 1GHz, and is based on a Cortex A9 core. The screen diagonal is of 3.7″ with a resolution of 854×480 pixels. Photos can be shot with a 5-megapixel camera, which also videos in 720p resolution.
It is not known if Sony Ericsson are still unannounced device. On the pictures you can see that it is a prototype, where the smartphone in the Xperia series, is released. The manufacturer had previously know only smartphones, which is mainly focused on the Android operating system.
It is possible one of the last devices in the name of Sony Ericsson. Recently took Sony’s share of Ericsson in the joint venture. It is expected that the acquisition this year completed. Previously there were already images of Xperia smartphones that will only be in the name of Sony, though it is unclear when this was released.
