First glimpse of Acers Android tablet with Tegra 3 was shown

Shortly before the end of his press conference on the eve of the CES exhibition showed Acer briefly its upcoming Android tablet. The latest addition to the Iconia series is powered by a Tegra 3 soc and get a full hd panel.

With the unveiling confirms Acer rumors that have been circulating about a new tablet, possibly the A700 is called. Acer showed at the press conference single release that the new Iconia powered by a Tegra 3 processor and a full hd panel will get. That resolution is much higher than the 1280×800 pixels that are still prevalent in 10,1″-Android-tablets.

There was briefly demonstrated how the tablet has a 1080p video file played. Acers current top model – the A500 – includes a Tegra 2 chip which is not powerful enough to run 1080p video with high bitrates to play. Acer will be the new tablet, most likely in February at Mobile World Congress to introduce and it is likely that the tablet Android Ice Cream Sandwich will run.
