Sony sells share in lcd joint venture S-LCD to partner Samsung. This is Samsung are the full owner of the company. The screens are used in tv programs, but also in smartphones from Sony Ericsson and HTC.
Samsung takes all of the shares of Sony in the joint venture S-LCD, Sony has announced. Sony was for about half owner of the lcd manufacturer, Samsung already had the other half. The South Korean electronics giant to pay for the Sony-share an amount of more than one trillion South Korean won, the euro 721 million euro.
