Samsung will, within four months with an update to Android 4.0 for its flagship Galaxy S II. Also the Galaxy Note gets an update. It seems that the other smartphones in Samsung’s Galaxy line not update.
Samsung says that the updates for the S II and Note in the first quarter of 2012 to be rolled out. Then follow the updates for the Android tablets of the manufacturer, such as the 10.1, 8.9, 7.7 and 7 Plus. Other smartphones from Samsung such as the Galaxy Ace, Galaxy Gio, Galaxy Apollo, Galaxy Y, Galaxy Txt and the old flagship model, the Galaxy S will not be called. That probably means that no official update.
The update to Android Ice Cream Sandwich does not come as a surprise. Previously licked all of some of the test versions of version 4.0 of the Galaxy S II. Other manufacturers have announced all updates for previously released devices. The Nexus S is the first device that the update actually officially started. Other smartphones get at the earliest in the first months of next year for an update.
Samsung brought the Galaxy S II in may of this year, while the Galaxy Note since the beginning of november in Dutch shops. The Galaxy S II, won the Golden Spanner in the guard in the category of smartphones.
