Linux Mint developers work on an alternative Gnome 3 shell

Developers of Linux Mint have started a new project to using a fork of the Gnome Shell is a alternative interface to build that looks more like the ‘classic’ Gnome 2 environment. Cinnamon will, however, within Gnome 3 to run.
