Google has announced that it has begun the rollout of Android Ice Cream Sandwich for the Nexus S. The software update comes in the next few weeks at all the users who have the gsm version of the Google device.
The Nexus S is one of the first devices ICS: Huawei released earlier update, but here it went to a trial. Sony Ericsson has published a ICS rom for developers, and there appeared a leaked version for Samsung Galaxy S II.
Google had promised that Android ICS to the Nexus S would come. The older Nexus One phone will, however, not update. The internetgigant in the new Android version, among other things, the interface is an update. Also, there is full hardware acceleration built in, and its Honeycomb features like the Action Bar.
