French reseller sues Apple for unfair competition

A large French reseller has filed suit against Apple because the priority would give to his own stores for the supply of products. As a result, French retailers face shortages.

According to eBizcuss, the largest reseller of Apple products in France, sales in its stores in the third quarter of this year, with 30 percent. This would be mainly due to shortages of iPads and MacBook Airs. In addition, it would eBizcuss in the fourth quarter of this year, no delivery of the iPhone 4S from Apple have received.

According to the indictment, Apple supplies aware less products to the reseller, to the sale in its own stores to promote. The shortages have arisen after Apple released its first own store opened in 2009, in Paris.

The company from Cupertino has not yet on the charges responded. It is not the first time that there is a lawsuit against Apple is being filed because of unfair competition. Reseller, MacSolutions did this also in France in 2006, but found a settlement.
