Firmware HTC Sensation on the basis of Android 4.0 comes out

There is a first rom has appeared for the HTC Sensation on the basis of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The firmware includes a custom version of HTC’s own interface Sense, and is reportedly based on an internal test rom from HTC.

The rom is RCMIx Ice has been put online by a Swedish developer in the forum of XDA-Developers and is based on Android 4.0.1, which indicates that the firmware at least a week and a half ago is completed; Google is now at Android 4.0.3 and that is the version that manufacturers will use for their updates to Android 4.0.

Although the Sense version, according to the rom to 3.5, there are a few changes to see that HTC would have made. The folders on the homescreen are not round, but square. Also, the launcher is adapted; the large Phone icon is gone and the bar at the bottom is now to own taste, just as in the unadapted interface of Android 4.0.
