‘Facebook is going to support IE7 phasing out’

Facebook seems to stop with the support for IE7 on his site. Users with the browser Facebook visit, get on the profile pages of an old layout. It is likely that for future features, the same issues apply.

The company behind the social-networking site has decided to enable users of the IE7 browser and not the new timeline feature to show when she is the profiles of others. Instead, the old layout will be shown. Facebook has not yet officially commented on the lack of IE7 support.

The stop of the support for Microsoft’s IE7 browser does not come as a surprise. A year ago, support for version 6 is stopped, and Google has previously indicated his services are no longer suitable for IE7.

Facebook released its new profile layout in december, but users are still not required to move. With the timeline, is it possible to important events to add, such as birth, marriage and graduation. Can photos and videos be posted. Next to the profile photo can be a ‘cover’ to be uploaded, a much larger picture above the profile shown.
