BioWare is inspired by Skyrim

Ontwikkelstudio BioWare allows for the development of his following game, inspired by various ‘external influences’, including The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The developers appear to be a fan of one of their biggest competitors.

“The next Dragon Age-part one will be the best features from previous Dragon Age games, but will also contain elements that gamers engage in other games with a more open-world,” said BioWare-director Ray Muzyka at Wired. “We are also in Skyrim for scuba diving. We find it fun. We are admirers of Bethesda and the game,” said Muzyka.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim can be seen as a direct competitor of the also in 2011 published game Dragon Age II. That game was, unlike Skyrim, with a variety of criticisms received. Bethesda’s in november released rpg reeg, however, the international high scores to each other and seems to be well on the way, various ‘Game of the Year’awards in the prizes.

Although BioWare is still nothing officially has been announced, it seems only a matter of time before Muzyka and his team the next Dragon Age game proposals to the public. “It is our goal to make our fans surprised and happy, and I’m really looking forward to the game to announce,” according to Muzyka, that the development of Dragon Age III already seems to confirm.
