The website of the Financial lwa le Daily has malware offered. It would go to a trojan via iframe Windows pc’s trying to infect. Only users who access the site with Internet Explorer visit would be vulnerable.
According to Webwereld the malware makes use of an iframe which FD.nl used to ads of an ad server to load. It would go to the trojan Mal_Hifrm. The malware attempts after install yet more malicious code on an infected system to install. Only users who FD.nl using Internet Explorer visit would be vulnerable to the trojan. Also save the updated virus scanners alarm if the malware is detected.
The FD has not yet responded on the matter. However, it is not the first website of a newspaper that has to deal with malware. In October knew hackers via an ad network, among other on the web sites of publisher Wegener to spread malware. A server of the company CoolConcepts would have been used.
