Ubisoft Quebec is working on a mmorpg for Nintendo’s yet to introduce console Wii U. The Canadian studio is looking for several developers who need to start work on a new ‘AAA’title for the Wii U.
Ubisoft Quebec has been around since 2005, and has worked since its inception mainly on various handheld games. So were the PSP versions of Rainbow Six: Vegas, TMNT and Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands taken by them. Also assisted Ubisoft Quebec Ubisoft Montreal in the development of Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. In 2010, the studio approximately 300 employees, and with that, Ubisoft Quebec is a lot smaller than, for example, Ubisoft Montreal, where between 2500 and 3000 people are employed.
