Turkish hackers take thousands of Dutch sites on the grain

A Turkish hackersgroepering called 1923Turk is started with the plastering of thousands of Dutch sites. On the list of potential victims includes Wikileaks.nl and a site of weatherman Piet Paulusma.

The hackergsroep 1923Turk is already a few years active, but, as far as known not on such a large scale hit. On their website, the group is in a late Sunday issued forumposting ‘that the Netherlands is too far gone,” but all lack concrete examples to which theorem to support.

In the topic, which is entirely dedicated to the Netherlands, more than 3,600 domain names listed in the list of possible targets. May is going to have a list of sites that are Joomla or other popular cms’and use; the computer hacker group abused for years sites with a leak in the cms.

On the list there are many sports clubs and small businesses, but there appear to be some of the larger names in between, such as PietPaulusma.nl, Wikileaks.nl, valet parking Yellowbrick and municipal sites of Diemen and Bussum, the netherlands. 1923Turk makes there are already a number of years a sport of to websites to daub by the index file to replace it by their own page. In the night between Sunday and Monday seems to be the first batch of sites to be gedefacet, involving, inter alia, the website of the theme park Slagharen is plastered.

Also various other sites that appear on the list, would be vandals. Out of a sample of Tweakers.net it appears that the majority of the sites at the time of writing is working normally, what the presumption that it is a list of potential targets, enhanced. In some cases, the damage in the last hours to be restored. Hosting company Byte reports, for example, that the last night for several customers to clean up the mess has been discovered tweaker Keiichi.
