The Belgian isp Telenet has a fine of 250,000 euros, because the subscribers should not have informed. The company changed the terms and conditions, but informed customers are not well in their rights for a change.
The company had customers individually on the need-to-know set of the right without penalty to terminate, but did not. Telenet announced this single on his website, which a link in the small print of the bill was to be found. That is not enough, Bipt. The company therefore receives a fine of 250,000 euros is imposed.
The amendments included that a right to compensation for long-term telefoonstoringen disappeared, as well as limiting the financial liability of Telenet subscriptions of a maximum of 100 euro per month.
