Spotify competitor Deezer begins in the Netherlands

The French streaming music service Deezer is from Thursday, available in the Netherlands. The service has a comprehensive roll-out on stack, in which at the end of this year, the availability in more than 45 countries, is a fact.

The French service started four years ago, and was initially largely free of streaming music, but limiteerde the number of free listening hours since June of this year to five. A single track can also not be more than five times to be listened to. The catalog has 13 million songs.

Deezer offers a Premium subscription for € 4.99 and Premium+ for $ 9.99 per month. With Premium+, users can also mobile listen. The music service announced the global roll-out at the Le Web event in France and showed on Twitter to know as of 8 december in the Netherlands and Ireland to start.

Also in Belgium is the service for every internet user available. Deezer had already a cooperation with Belgacom and customers of this provider could make the service since november. Deezer wants at 30 June 2012, 81 countries are available. Interestingly enough, the US and Japan.
