Sony: Flash support on PS Vita still not sure

It is not yet sure whether Sony’s upcoming handheld Vita will receive support for Adobe’s Flash technology. Sony wants the technology be pleased to support, but Adobe has just indicated to stop Flash for mobile devices.

This is evident from an interview with three executives from Sony, that the website AV Watch has published. Muneki Shimada, senior executive at the softwaretak of Sony, says that the company is still in negotiation with Adobe about a version of Flash on the PlayStation Vita, running. Or that there actually is going to come is unclear.

At the beginning of november let Adobe know that it will stop development of Flash for mobile devices. It pointed out that licensees may still make adjustments to the source code can do. RIM, the manufacturer of the BlackBerry PlayBook, has already indicated the development of Flash for tablet for yourself to continue.

Sony’s latest handheld is coming on december 17th in Japan. In February, 2012 for America and Europe at the turn. The pocket computer features a 5.3″touchscreen, two analog sticks and a touchpad on the back.
