Scythe announces three new Rev. B-coolers to

The Japanese manufacturer Scythe has the socket-support of the Mugen 3 and Ninja 3 cooler is extended with support for Intel’s latest lga2011 socket. The new coolers are to recognize at the achtervoegssel Rev. B.

The new versions of the processorkoelers from Rev. B suitable for Intel’s new socket lga2011, that on X79 motherboards for Sandy Bridge E-processors. The mounting on which motherboard is easier than on other Intel sockets; a backplate already on the motherboard is integrated, so no separate backplate. The coolers will of course also suitable for the other sockets of both Intel and AMD, which is also the FM1 socket of the latter is supported.

The Mugen 3 Rev. B is available in two versions. There is a regular version with a few quiet Slip Stream fan, which is regulated by means of pwm, and can to at least 300 and up to 1600 revolutions per minute spin. The PCGH Edition of the same cooler, either the PC Games Hardware Edition, is almost identical to the regular version, but with two Slip Stream fans with a fixed spin speed of 800rpm delivered.

The Ninja 3 Rev. 3 got the same treatment as the Mugen 3 cooler and is therefore also suitable for socket R on X79 motherboards. The supplied Slip Stream fan runs at 470 to 1900 rpm. The large cooler weighs 1080 grams and is also, like the Mugen 3, with Scythes Flip Mount Super Back-Plate 4 or FMSB 4 delivered.

The list price of the Mugen 3 is approximately 43 euros; for the PCGH Edition should be around fifty euros to be paid. The Ninja 3 is the same as the Mugen 3. Starting next week, should the revisions be delivered.
